Anti-bullying workshop offered in Medina
A workshop about school violence and the prevention of bullying is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Saturday at Unity of Medina at Williams on the Lake, 787 Lafayette Road, Medina.The workshop will be facilitated by Judy and Gary Soland of Cuyahoga Falls. The Solands are singer-songwriters and recording artists whose sessions about school violence are centered on their song 'til you can see me.The song takes listeners into the heart and mind of a troubled teen. It is used to open dialogue between students (13 and older), parents and others interested in trying to prevent youth violence.The Solands recently returned from teaching workshops at the National S.A.V.E.
